About Dr. Schadt & The Team

Wayne Schadt achieved an honors degree in zoology and his dental degree from the University of Alberta, 1976. The next five years were devoted to repaying the Canadian Government for his education by serving in the Canadian armed forces. This included visits throughout the world including UN peacekeeping duties in the Middle East, based out of Cyprus.

Captain Schadt established his private practice in Victoria in 1980 and practised continually until 2004 at Goldstream Avenue in the West Shore community. This experience helped to shape the focus and direction of Malahat Dental.

The Philosophy of the practice is simple: "Treat the patient as you would treat yourself". Provide expertise and jointly make the decision as to course of treatment.

Malahat Dental is the people that provide the services.

Jackie Schadt is the office manager with over thirty years in dentistry and teaching.

Carrie Ceasor started her career with Dr. Schadt at Goldstream. They worked together for 12 years before she moved to Ottawa. Recently she has moved back and rejoined the team.

Along with Dr. Schadt they complete the equation.
